Don't you just love speculation, again someone makes an unfounded statement and people take the.bait, the only thing I'll speculate on is that we Will sign an.half decent striker before the start of the season, who that will be, as with the rest of us, I haven't the foggiest...just hope MJ has his fingers in more than one pie!!

It'll probably be someone we've never heard of.

After all not many Town fans had heard of Liam Hearn, Alan Connell or Padraig Amond before we signed them.

If we fail to sign a recognised striker will people be having a moan at MJ, or as at the moment most would "use his sh@t for toothpaste" will he be given some leeway?

There's lots of factors involved in signing players, the manager being only one of them.

If we don't sign a recognised striker, rather than have a moan at MJ I will be wondering what sort of a budget he has been given to work with.

Have just found out that there is definitely a particular signing on the horizon that Jolly is hoping to get but negotiations are  proving difficult. He is not coming out who it is until yes or no but he seems  positive that he has a chance of making the signing. Pretty impressive if it comes off.
