For F@cks sake, excuse my language btw, curse of the pre season strikes again, remember Liam Hearn doing his achilles, put him out for the full season the poor bloke did the other side on his return....Had some high hopes for Elliot, seemed to really want to do well for Town and his team mates, gutted for him and hope we see him in the black n white shirt before May 2019

Gutted for him, was really looking forward to seeing him next season. Hopefully it's not as bad as this thread suggest, though. Wishing him a speedy recovery - sounds like he is really fit, so that's one thing that could aid his recovery at least.

Agreed, there are some strange people infect the internet. Now how many seconds before this is red-crossed?
It is very sad news for Whitehouse and GTFC.

Fucks sake, terrible news for us, and more importantly, for him. Guessing we'll be seeing another midfielder coming in (maybe a season's loan?)

Crap. Almost Bolland-esque timing though I suppose it gives Jolley at least a few weeks to look for another player.

Sounds like he would have been just the sort of all-action box to box midfielder we need. Let's hope the injury isn't as serious as feared and he'll be able to play at some point in the coming season.

Problem with knees is that, even if they are fixed and the player gets back to fitness, it can take a long time for the strength to return so we might not even see the best of him before the end of his contract.

Agree Rokerite

Sad on every level.... for the player & for the club in respect of the injury and as for those who give this situation the x, they're just sad, full stop!

Was speaking to his Mum and Dad who were both stood next to me at the Clee Town friendly. Lovely people actually. Spoke very highly of the club so far and said that he was very complimentary of Jolley and the current setup. Not so kind in his words for Lincoln and the Cowleys.

Really bad news for the lad if it's as bad as first feared
