Latest friendly score that stands out tonight...........Portugal  0-1  Egypt

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Maguire has impressed me. Very calm and composed with the ball at his feet

He was nervous against Germany, but I like the big lummox. I have no idea if that’s how you spell it!

No surprise who's put them ahead.

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Really don't know what was negative about that.

Dominated possession. Played out from the back and through the press as well as I've seen us do. Decent movement from the front 3. Good quality performance.

over played at the back at times, thought we looked nervous after we got the goal and probably looked worse after the 3 attacking substitutions were made.
Overall though a better looking performance...pressed them quickly, forced the errors but maybe not enough goal threat still.
