Dodgy all round. What was it...Slade said Woodhouse called him and invited himself for a cuppa, Woodhouse said Slade had contacted him and invited him for a cuppa.

Couldn't even get the cover-up story straight.

What makes you so confident those stories are made up?

I understand the point you're making, but in the instance of this week, RH have made themselves look pretty stupid in some of their coverage masquerading as news that was in fact cobbled together from chit chat, rumour, supposition and the old impeccable source that turns out to be wrong. The club have said sweet FA until today and can't be fairly said to have made a mockery of themselves.

Lol indeed they do...especially in recent times.  I dont tbh.  But as a town fan id always accept what comes from the club whether its right or wrong as i think humberside news spouts mostly infactual bullsh*t.  Im not like some fans that question everything but many years ago the GET and Humberside  worked with town very well publishing and reporting positive things even if town lost.  Nowaway days its like they are trying to belittle....and damage the clubs image (yes something the club have done have been a bit like a circus).  Take the GET for example gone downhill massively they use to be close to town reporting on positive things now its like they constantly try to start unnecessary arguments.  I guess they have to sell papers and get click baits.

But thats just my opinion.

I take it you are happy with the way RH are posting / reporting on things (regardless of how you feel about tbe board)?

If Askey is appointed manager, then they have been pretty much spot on.

Do people really think that Brown hasn't had talks with the club and been offered the job? When the big rumour was that he was getting the job, they reported he'd turned it down. It's embarrassing if the club can't get their top targets if he's declared an interest in the job.  

Tom Farmery reported that McCall had swerved it too. It looks to me that the club are running round chasing their tails as they cross names off their list. If Askey turns us down then where next? They've made a total mess of sacking a manager just after a window and we are all paying the price for it now.

I disagree.

The club are going through their process of elimination.  It happens....maybe town did offer PB the job and PB turned it down....maybe they just couldnt agree terms again it happens.  Maybe they never offered PB the job because of his demands....but whos there sticking their nose in saying town offered it to PB but he turned it down but the club said they didn't offer it to PB...... RH.   If Askey turns us down you  carry on until your shortlist is depleted.  Yes we may end up with a undesired manager not much the club can do as i have no knowledge of whats being discussed in the interviews and id think no one on here does.  The point im making is RH need to wait on the club....at the moment i can see RH are being a bit like a wasp a nuisance...yet all they need to do is wait for the official word (im sure the club would give them first dibs to announce it after them).  You dont see lincoln echo coming out with statements undermining the club even when they went through a series of managers.

So tell me are you happy with RH conduct? Reporting on infactual stuff all because of my source.  Some of it like trying to identify players is ok as rumours are rumours but they arent reporting on rumours they are stating its fact when it aint.  but when it comes to the more important stuff like managerial appointments it needs RH to just not interfere.
