I don't think many have been advocating more debt have they? I think most are wanting the opposite

They've raised 75k from the 200k target. Had a near sell-out on Saturday vs Wrexham with Middlesbrough fans taking around 1000 fans.

What Hartlepool need is knight on a white charger to rescue them, I think looking at our recent past there is an answer. They require a non chairman who can loan them the required amount to keep them going, these loans could eventually be classed as "benign" then they are destined for the promised land of the football league( might take 6 years but who's counting) Once back they will require a manager, someone with a proven track record, who plays exciting attacking football, and can work a computer, step forward a certain Mr Slade. So there you are, all good things come to those who wait.

Despite a few gobsh1tes on this forum a wee while back it would be harsh for anybody to hope another fan's football team could perhaps even crash out of the game. Am glad Middlesborough have helped out so dar, it was Hartlepool who basically kept them going when they went into administration and the gates at Ayresome Park were locked. Boro' played a number of games at Hartlepool, so I sincerely hope the help is going to continue.

That said, it might be better in the long run for the club to go into admin and come back as a phoenix, fan owned club. Hasn't done Hereford badly, and with Pool's fan base I imagine they'd have a great first few years winning league title after league title and visiting grounds they've never been to before.

Perhaps Andy can give us some insight into this?

There have been many posters on here who advocated going into administration some time ago just to be free of JF. They pointed out the clubs that had done so and come out of it ok. If Hartlepool go into administration then that is the other side of taking that route.

They are at Mr Bignot's Chester tonight, having won only 1 of their last 14 games.

Fully agree, if they got demoted as we did to the Northern League, they'd fly through the leagues quickly enough as they'd still have the ground and a huge fanbase with a potential of more if they are doing well. South Shields are doing it now, Hartlepool would be a great attraction for a lot of PT players due to the size of the club.

Look at Hereford, they average about 2500+ per week and are doing very well; I am sure if they get promoted they'll be in the Conference North/South which is incredible really considering how far down they reformed.

Personally wouldn't like to see them go bust as it's horrible to go through. I would however like to see some karma for those select few bellends who follow em and laughed in our faces. So getting demoted would stick a smile on my face. But I reckon they'll be fine, someone will come in. They've got too much potential as a club/land to go under.

Pools need £200,000 by Jan 25th.

Sanchez has just signed for Man Utd for an estimated £350,000 a week

The Premier league shames our once great game.

£505,000 they reckon he’ll get a week.

And agree, whilst we keep watching football on sky. The worse it’ll get.

Today we got our team back - town fan leaving Wembley may 2016
