He's known these "good honest people" what half a day ? You only know good honest people after building up years of a relationship paul.

I don't think he has actually met any 'good honest people' for the last few years

Me? Don't know nuffin. Sniff.

I reckon the sniff must have been for the benefit of radio listeners as they couldn't see him scratch his nose when he denied all knowledge.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Shrewsbury fans already moaning on their forum about Hurst. Reality check Paul, football fans from every club are fickle and can be harsh. The grass isn't always greener...

Having read from Hurst on why he joined Shrewsbury I can understand his reasons to be fair to him.Fresh challenge etc( and a bit more money probably helped as well).

'Good honest people'   ....

Shrewsbury; 'Good honest people' communicated with others about a managerial vacancy before making an official approach.

Paul Hurst: 'Good honest person' allowed the communication to take place.

Chris 'sniffer' Doig: 'Good honest person' Knew nothing whatsoever!

Grimsby Town;  We have been guilty of what Shrewsbury have done

Thats football....it happens all the time.

Batch, K.Moore, Waters, Wiggington, Crombie, Brolly, Ford, Drinkell, Mitchell, Cumming, Kilmore. D.Moore, Stone, Liddell. ....1979/80..... now that WAS a team.
