Thanoj is not strong enough for this league, to easily knocked off the ball and not enough time on it for him to be effective, hope the Niven detractors are choking on their breakfast this morning, it's only a few weeks ago some idiots cheered his demise....

Think Hurst said post match it was a tweaked (hopefully) hamstring but too early to diagnose.

'Tweaked' hamstring and 'popped' groin. New clinical terminology?!

Only a week or two ago 80's was talking about Disley, his importance and the potential for him to suffer an injury/fatigue-related problem.
Let's hope for all our sakes that Disley's 'tweak' only needs a short time to recover because we need his many qualities. On the flip-side, maybe we are about to see what young Dougie from Hull City can do..?

Hamstring injuries are usually a couple of weeks out at least.

Too easy for a 'tweak' to become a tear which can be an issue for months. I'd rather Disley missed the next 4 or 5 games and was fit for a potential play-off push than risk bringing him back too soon though it would be a shame for him if he missed the Trophy Final.

Where did I say that ?
Just done a search and can't see it at all.
Think if you're gonna speak on behalf of others you should quote them pointing to the relevant thread.

I do remember saying that players can pick up injuries - fairly obvious really.

Think Hurst said he hadn't ruptured it.

You don't remember saying that you thought that Disley's autoselection and importance to us might eventually meet with him 'burning out'? I'm not saying he has in this case, but it was quite prominent in one of your recent posts. Good point too.
I haven't got the time to do a trawl, and tbh mate, it could take forever with some of your posts(!). Needless to say, you really should try to remember what you post, especially if it's a good point
