FFS how much longer are folk going to wobble on about this issue - it's history, it's over and done with.

AFCW are now in the Football League and don't need (if they ever did) anyone's sympathy or  a group of nutters producing T-Shirts for 'em

They are big boys now and all but a few total idiot hardcore supporters should have realised football is a business where tradition comes a distant second - Dons will stuff them in the next round hopefully

If you read that article closely (it's very poorly written) you'll see that AFCW and the owners of the stadium want to build just a football ground and get rid of greyhound racing altogether. There are also other proposals to keep greyhound racing there which hopefully will come to pass but they don't come from AFCW, It's like BP being converted into a speedway track!

It's far worse than what the then owners of MKD did (which is so long ago it's ancient history anyway) because at the time Wimbledon FC were homeless and had been for a number of years.  They may well have folded in the madness of the years after the transfer to MK anyway.

I'll be rooting for MKD if it comes to it and not the stadium thieves.

It is poorly written, hence my misunderstanding.

Wimbledon FC had been trying to get back to Merton for a number of years, but Norwegian owners in the 90s had made it abundantly clear that they had no interest in sustaining WFC as a South London club. They wanted to move them to Dublin at one stage as I recall, which shows the only interest from an investor's point of view was their League place. They were undoubtedly a small club, certainly too small for the Premiership and possibly even the Championship, but they still had their place at the heart of the community in Wimbledon just as many small clubs do now.

The thing for the people of Wimbledon is that WFC may as well have folded. The club left the area taking the community work and employment with it and they had to start again with a wholly new club. So far as the people of South London were concerned, Wimbledon FC folded in 2004 when they moved to Milton Keynes. The effect on the community was the same.

It's no wonder tradition comes second when people have an attitude like yours. What happened was disgraceful; it's important to 'wobble' on about the issue to stop anything like it ever happening again.

2-0 to MK now.

It's going to be one heck of a tie in Round 2.

Hope not. Decent league 1 team at home to a poor league 2 one. No atmosphere as home fans are all Man U fans and away fans won't be there.
