So who is going to be our main strike force this season ?

Im going for Pearson & Hearn.

Cook is a brilliant player, but for me Pearson is brilliant at holding the ball up and we will see the best out of Hearn alongside him

hearn to start the season based on what?

this pre-season? no didnt so, purly on what the lad did last season. because lets be honest he aint done alot this pre season because of the injury.

so if its purly on last season then for me.

ELDING AN HEARN. 45 goals between them, need say no more.

so you complain at hearn starting due to not playing much in pre-season, but you would put him upfront with elding ?

not complaining at all, what im saying is fans have him in the 11 for the start of season for  what he did last year. (and rightly so)

what im saying is if, if it is based on last year then surly it should be hearn and elding.

you know what i mean.

Last season the managers said they wanted a small squad.   This season they seem to have recognised the risks with that approach.  They want a bigger squad this season.  However, last season we had 4 centre-backs.  This season we have 2 with a possibility of 3.  I think that we need 4 CBs to challenge for places, similar to the competition for strikers.
agree about competition keeps people on their toes and helps prevent complacency

Why should it be Hearn and Elding? Based on last season, it should be Hearn and Cook because Cook scored more goals playing for a worse team than Elding.

well if you want to go into stupid thing like that then elding should play because he played how many league game? scored how many league goals? had nearly a million pound in transfers to and from clubs. how many has cook played? exactly stupid.. what im saying is elding and hearn scored 45 goals for us last season so why is elding already being writen off as a non starter.in any team at any level if there are 2 strikers that scored 45 then surly that shouldnt be over looked.
