I thought that this morning but flash pointed out to me that heavy snow is forecast for fri/weekend.

so who knows hope it is on......WTF do the Met Office know anyways?

there is another thread somewhere saying large parts of the pitch are frozen solid, like my garden! so it wont thaw out before Sat cos the temp isnt going to rise and snow is forecast for Fri
