Peter Till has indirectly performed a very valuable service for Town yesterday. The Wrexham captain (Dean Keates) was sent off after getting 2 yellows.  The final card was incurred tackling Till.    

Source NLP today.

Andy Morrell was incensed and confronted the referee at the end of the game at the (quote) "An horrendous decision. It was not a sending off and changed the game. He looked to have won the ball.  Even if it was a full-blooded tackle.  Keates had passed the ball and they collided.   This might be an important point at the end of the season.".  The Ref was Anthony Backhouse.

The sending off was attributed by Morrell as the reason for not all 3 points. Wrexham ended drawing game 2-2 at home to Tamworth. 2 points dropped.
