Didn't exactly set the world alight here, but I was surprised to see him drop that far down the pyramid.

This thread really explains why we're in the position we are . 99% of the players we've had in the last 3 or 4 years are playing at levels down the pyramid that show just how shite they were . We did well not to get relegated last season

Sam Mulready has been a busy boy this season. Loaned out by us to North Ferriby, Boston and Gainsborough, then signed by Gainsborough permanently, he's now on loan at Brigg.

bit over the top   I think its all relative.Look at the facts for instance of those in pro youth teams on average from a squad of 15 only about 2 get taken on and sign professional deals. If they don't make the standard or the gaffers/management don't feel there good enough there released or let go early on.So in my opinion anyone who has played 5 to 10 times for the club has done well .To put it into further context as well you have to be half decent just to get into a professional youth side in the first place.Who I feel sorry for though are kids who give it their all and don't make the grade  "dreams shattered at such a young age " .Some however do come back stronger and overcome early setbacks and the game is littered with examples eg Hansen,Keegan were released from youth clubs and they came back from disappointments to forge top level careers

yeah he has got a point but Iam just emphasising the point that because players don't make the grade at Town they aren't "s####"   footballs one of the most difficult professions to make a career out of and players from all levels be it league 1 to the Northern Premier division deserve respect for attaining a certain standard even if it isn't that of the champ or prem
