Great second goal UTM

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

It was a great performance but I didn't realise how bad Wright's mistake was till seeing it back. I hope he can find some form soon.

Shortchanged on that second goal...we played it out from left back...and regards their goal being a Pontoonite I didn't see how much of a fluff their goal was really.
The extended Town highlights should be good viewing.

It was up there with Tommy Forecast’s greatest hits.

That was the highlights off Bradford’s website? It must’ve been more one sided than it sounded on the radio. Some lovely football and JDS cool as an Icelandic cucumber.

Cook had one chance at the Pontoon end but that’s all I can remember them doing other than the goal (which was a gift really).

lovely finish from JDS. Looks like some exciting football unseen at BP in recent years.  I hope all the moaners will give DA a break.  Its clear what he is attempting to do and we still have a few players to get into the team.  There is going to be some healthy competition for places.  Neither Khouri or Green could have expected to be starters this season but they could establish themselves in the side

Enjoyed watching that back. What a good goal that would have been if Khouri hadn’t skied it (though I thought he was brilliant aside from that).

Have to admit to a wry smile as I was reminded of the “Yorkshire slums” song in the build up to the opener, as I sit here, in my house in Yorkshire, with my wife, from Yorkshire, and my kids, both born and bred in Yorkshire.

In fairness, my kids have both avoided the worst of the accent thus far, save for my lad saying “wun” instead of “one”, the douchebag.

Probably a bit odd that I still get stuck into the song, but it’s only a bit of fun, innit? Anyway, back to my rat-au-van…
