I don't blame Khouri for that goal. He's overloaded and if he closed it down, the ball just gets put out wide and put on a platter for the multiple runners. They caught us and did us with numbers. The save should have been better though. Hope he learns from it.

Though they turned it into 4 vs 3. Their guy on the ball, and their winger made much more effort to get forward than some of our guys in the centre and left getting back to free up Rodgers (I think) to close it down and give Khouri the freedom to pick up the wide man. If there was more pressure from the middle, it would have been harder to take that shot.

I agree with you but it was Warren not Khouri.

The thing is, you cannot let him run all the way from inside his own half to the edge of our penalty area and get a shot off.  When he shot from the edge of the area we were STILL backing off him!  Warren had to come out and make an effort to tackle him.

I think the impetuse changed when they brought on subs with, I assume, newer orders, scored a bit of a gifty, which gave them heart. Up to then it was basically a lot of Grimsby.
