For those who went to the Boston match, how was the "Stadium Experience"
The bogs in the main stand were clean, loo paper, flushed, hot water, soap, hand driers. Made some of our facilities look archaic.

Yeah I agree. Was quietly confident based on the feedback a couple of Imps I know gave on him*, then within seconds of him playing in the second half against Clee he just gave off the feel of that type of 'keeper who states his authority and installs confidence in his back-line. Said in our group chat on Saturday night that he's my early bet for POTY.
I'm thinking like when Steve Mildenhall came in and within a few games you could see how higher up the pitch the defence had stepped because he not only pushed them out but they trusted him to do so.
I don't think Eastwood is a bad 'keeper, far from it and when he's on his game he looks very capable at this level. But Wright just looks to have that extra gear to his game.
*speaking to one of them earlier this week, having now sold Jensen it seems Lincoln are a bit of a crossroads between the sticks. They've signed a young lad released by Birmingham and none other than former Town bench warmer Jamie Pardington, but neither appear ready for the No 1 shirt. When they signed the lad from Birmingham the club even said he's a development and they'll be looking to loan him out sharpish.
Wright is a good goalkeeper - He will do well for you I would imagine, An issue for us was his feet and distribution, which sometimes in L1 meant we did not get the ball back, but I think he is a good buy for you, we got some dollar, so everyone should be happy. Jensen is a loss to us, and will be Millwalls 1st choice keeper so that tells you the level he was at, but we have got a very significant figure for him, so with Sorenson sold too, we have made probably 1.5 million from the pair - It is the model we have. Neither keeper we have bought will be 1st choice, 1 will be loaned, and we have already agreed a deal with a goalkeeper from Fulham - Pretty happy with our business, took players from L2 that were offered deals by their clubs and fans unhappy to see them leave so that bodes well - We just need to replace Taylors goals and should be okay.. Birmingham offering 3.5 million for a player this week though shows what we are up against.

Had missed Jensen’s move to Millwall, which presumably materialised as a result of Matija Sarkic’s tragic and unexpected passing. We announced Wright’s signing the day before that awful news broke; do you think he might have been retained as your #1 had the club known Jensen might move on, or was he not quite ready for that, in your opinion?

I was hoping for the watching-the-match perspective. I know the South stand needs finishing, but could you watch properly?

My reply was tongue in cheek, but the seats were comfortable and no posts in the way so a great view of the pitch.

He certainly never let us down when he stepped in for injuries or suspensions, but he does lack the ability to use his feet. As mentioned, in L1 you just don't get the ball back, a long kick, and it just becomes a 50/50. The club would have always known Jensen was likely to leave, it is the model we have now and fans need to chill about it, whilst disappointed if Jensen did not start, I was never bothered that Wright did. Making 1.5 million from 2 sales enables us to reinvest, and help with getting free agents, who have been offered deals by their clubs, but means we can offer that little bit more to entice them. Certainly think that is the case with Bayliss, Hamer, Jefferies and Street who were all offered deals for their clubs, and fans disappointed to see them leave. It is always a risk though, you just have to hope recruitment is good - The midfielder we have, Erhahon, will smash our transfer fee received if he goes.
