Can we sack him now and save our tournament?

If there’s a positive to come out of that, and I’m scraping the barrel here, it’s that Southgate has no choice but to change things drastically now.

That, and we’re still 2 points clear at the top of the group with Slovenia, ranked 57th in the world, to come in our final group game. This is salvageable, but only if there is a fundamental shift in system, personnel and mentality.

Poor. Very poor.

Is it too late to get rid of Southgate for the rest of this tournament? He's nothing less than extremely boring and deeply, embarrassingly inept.

The only positive is that Pickford didn't do anything wrong that I can remember. Almost every outfield player had some shockers.

Got more chance of madeleine McCann coming home than football!

There really is only a small % difference in quality between elite level players and L2 on that showing.

It was so clear we needed pace to get in behind yet Southgate put Bowen on instead of Palmer/Gordon. Clearly has no clue how we got a point I don’t know. Even the Pundits ETC are losing their head about it. It’s that bad tactically it’s laughable.

We played with too much fear. Too frightened to take a risk, always just move the ball on for someone else, nobody taking any responsibility or wanting to be positive.
