Hannah can still reject the offer from other clubs, even if Bradford don't give in i still think Hannah would sign at the end of his contract.

We need him this season though.

I hope Aston Villa beat Bradford 10-0 on aggregate and their promotion challenge falls away and they are stuck in League 2 for evermore.

therefore I can see why Bradford are trying to milk as much as possible out of the situation.
That's what I'm hoping. Surely they know Hannah won't go somewhere he doesn't want to though ? (or would he ?) Or is it a case that they know we'd like him asap like you say ? Thought it might be gridlock but surely some kind of compromise can be reached ? Just think if you're sat on top and you've invested so much to start off with, whether you just say intercourse it and risk buying your way to the title. If that's at all possible (which perhaps it's not...) But if we had say half already, isn't it worth the other half (if we've got that too) ? Easy to say but still tempted to say if we've got the money perhaps we should just do it. If the playing budget is what, 1/2 million+ then surely it's a relatively small price to pay ? Yes there's next years budget to consider etc but you'll have a sellable ASSET on the books. Sure nothing is ever guaranteed but I'd much rather be disappointed him leaving (or even Hearn for that matter) for new pastures in League 2 than not being in league 2. Perhaps he can be replaced but I'm not so sure - just think Hannah's such an important part of the jigsaw right now. Anyone else who comes in isn't proven here.

From the telegraph post match interview
Hurst continued: "In terms of Ross, the clubs are in talks - at the minute I would say it's not looking likely, but who knows?
"The downside of the match being on TV tonight is that there might have been a few more people watching, but Ross loves it here and would love to stay.
"At the same time, if suddenly a different club comes in and offers him a much better package then he'll obviously look at that.
"We're hopeful but at this moment in time the clubs are a little way apart."
Maybe I'm thinking about it too much (especially about the use of the word 'little', but these 2 bits contradict each other a little?

I agree, I think he's the difference between us challenging for promotion and dropping off. I can just see the duo behaving stubbornly in this respect, refusing to be held to ransom by Bradford and deciding to look elsewhere.

It's a mis-quote by the looks of it, just watched the post match interview and he actually says 'we're a little (then pauses) quite a bit apart'. This news added with Neilson has put a huge dampener on things.

Perhaps maybe it's their choice, maybe their hands could be tied cos of budget constraints who knows. Just think without knowing about the money aspect (fees, wages) or even possible replacements it's so difficult to weigh up the pros and cons. But one thing they were all talking about on Premier tonight was how all the boxes seemed to be ticked - wants to be here, is settled, wants to sign etc. If Hannah doesn't want to go elsewhere (I do hope not) perhaps someone should call in ACAS.

so they are trying to milk a non league club for a player who can not get in their squad and they are not really pulling up trees in League two but have had a good cup run.
Dream on Bradford unlike you, we will not put ourself in financial ruin!

I spoke to Fenty and elsom after game both told me on seperate occasions Bradford want more than £50k and holding the club to ranson. It will be a cat and mouse situation and it maybe a while before he signs for the club
