Not sure it's stricly true though.
Southampton made it clear they had their eyes firmly on promotion and like other teams tend to do, picked a weakened team for the FA Cup.
They were top of the Championship though, we're chasing success on 2 fronts.

Bold talk but just watch, if we do get beaten on Saturday this thread, or another similar one, will be full of 'it was only a tinpot little cup', 'thank fuk for that now we can concentrate on the league', 'it doesn't matter the playoffs are the main thing' and so on and so on
