Yeah if they stick with him up to the point he relegates us then I think they'd try and stick with him in the NL. The negative season ticket implications might be what forces their hand there though.

I think that they intend to try, but if they ultimately do, it will end up being the owners that will leave the club because the backlash from the fans would be enormous.

I'd like to think that events unfolded so quickly they weren't ready to sack him last weekend. Sunday's Twitter Vote of Confidence bought a bit of time. I seem to remember the match before Doncaster away (Colchester home) which saw PH sacked many people thought that would be that, but PH got another game at Donny. They were well prepared to sack him then and it happened quite quickly. If we lose again I wouldn't be surprised if events unfold just as quickly as they will have a pre-prepared plan that can be quickly rolled out. Getting a new manager bounce (even if it's Caretakers 2.0) will be perfect when FGR are the opposition with the BP crowd 100% behind the team again.

In my opinion I can't see a way back for DA

If you lose the majority of fans it becomes toxic and how can the Relationship be repaired? We Will have another year mediocrity next season unless the new football model suddenly delivers results.

So question for JS doubling down on the new football model or admitting mistakes were made.

I am pro JS by the way. Biggest decision had to make this one.

Yes I hope so. Basically, in order to give a manager the best chance in any given situation you've got to be publicly 100 percent behind him, until you aren't.

If you know what I mean, like you say it changes quickly.

I wonder if 1878 are looking at his first season at Crewe with some faith that he'll turn it around, like he did there.

His first few months were a bit excrement there to say the least before he had a mad run at the end of the season.

At one point they were only 3 points above the drop zone.  https://www.11v11.com/league-tables/league-two/13-february-2018/

They ended the season comfortably in midtable, ten points clear of the drop.

I really hope that's not the logic in persisting with him.  Because every other metric, be it data led or the simple eyeball test tells you were not getting better and need a dramatic change (either in what he's getting from the players or in terms of the man in the dugout).
