Impressed with Tunisia here. Good start for the Arab countries (apart from Qatar  )

It will be soon forgotten if we drop points in the next two games though.

I know FIFA are a load of crooks and bent but I will at least praise them on a couple of points, trying to stop all the tugging and holding at corner kicks and adding on some proper time at the end of each half, its about time supporters got a bit more football for the cash they spend.

14 minutes added time before half time on the England game due to the unfortunate head collision with the Iranian goalkeeper, longest I think I've ever seen in a game of football!

Even the commentators had to keep explaining to viewers just tuning in that it was still the first half.

I bet ITV would be raging - that's valuable advert time!

Thought Bale was poor yesterday. He obviously won the penalty, which was more due to the clumsy challenge, then converted it. But attacks seemed to break down everytime he got near the ball. Kieffer Moore on the other hand was brilliant, the kind of striker who no central defender looks forward to playing against.

My thoughts exactly
