I did not realise that the popularity of the women’s game had improved so much. The same with sponsorship and commercial backing.  I Watched a documentary last night that Barcelona had 2 attendances over 91,000.

The Women's Super League in this country is the first professional league, now televised on Sky and the BBC.   Over 200 countries show
Matches.

Old Trafford is sold out for England’s game this Wed in the Euro’s.  Nearly 500,000 tickets sold already for matches, to fans from 99 countries,

The final at Wembley will have an attendance of 87,200.  Reported to be the highest attendance of any European Championship match (men’s or women's).

There are 3.4 million female players in England.  Many of them very young. Over 34,000 registered female coaches.  The game looks to expand far more and faster than predicted only a few years ago.

The women’s game is clearly growing, and it’s awesome that so
many girls play, but all the hype about the pro game is OTT. Yes, the Euros will be a success, but if the tickets cost what they do for the men’s game, the stadiums would be a bit more sparse.

You’ll notice on tv there is a trend to big-up the women’s game at the expense of the men’s, but these are different days where the BBC’s priorities are 100% PC, rather than giving the public what they actually want.

Noticeable that there are more women at Town games now and the queue at the ticket office the other day seemed to have as many women in it as men.

Good to see.

I do agree, that’s pretty great. Some mad female fans in this town, go to more games than me.

I went to quite a few Notts Ladies games before they got disbanded in a cost cutting exercise and really enjoyed going to watch them, the attendances was slowly and steadily building up nicely when it came to a sudden halt,it was usually around £6 to get in a made for a pleasant Sunday afternoon,it was a missed opportunity going by how things have took off since then

How's the recruitment going chalky?

Guess it will be difficult to get any players to voluntarily wear that new shirt of yours.

Ive enjoyed the matches I watched over the couple of years, usually a good standard and usually played in the right spirit with less diving and play acting.

The recruitment is going fine but time will tell if it's as good on the pitch as it is on a paper

The home kit is horrible and I won't be buying one,no proper stripes and the logo looks to big for my liking and the Jake Bugg away shirt is just ok,it's going to be a tough 22\23 season for sure
