If you go on the pitch and are identified, you'll be banned from attending all future games.

This should be the standard punishment, right across the board, so there's no misunderstanding. Everyone knows the rule, no matter which ground they're at.

I appreciate for the vast majority of fans, invading the pitch is just an expression of joy and a chance to share the same space as the heroes that achieve promotion or whatever.

But you'd hope it'd make fans think twice. The bloke who butted Sharp last night won't be able to go to Wembley now. In fact he won't be able to go back to watch Forest again any time soon. he's just lost his Saturday afternoons.

And if they go up, he'll miss out on their games against Leicester, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, etc.

These incidents are few and far between given the numbers that attend football and he will, as usually happens with football fans, have the book thrown at him. Most would agree with that.

Forest supporting friend just told me he's been arrested - family man apparently FFS! Lifetime ban, prison, loss of job probably all coming. What defence will his solicitor come up with - insanity? Headbutting a player in front of 30k people with Sky cameras everywhere whilst wearing a bright yellow top - the lawyer might have a case...

The big fear for me is a player/manager will get knifed - I really think it could happen

i watched it all on Quest, you could see Cooper looking rather anxious to get to the tunnel and thats with his own fans grabbing him etc wanting selfies, he looked worried and nervous.
