Ultimately money talks but what Omar has here is the love of the fans which could get back him to his best.Similar to Torres at Liverpool.Done exceptionally well there due to being loved and thrived of that.Chelsea with their differing ethos didnt get the best out of him and form suffered.Hence from what Ive read Liverpool football club was a outlet for a lot of people given the problems the city have had and was outlet for many more so than other football clubs.
Ive seen it from talking to ex pros as well in the lower leagues.Hence when your loved by the fans it makes all the difference.Footballers arent robots and cant be at their peak if everything is not right of the pitch etc.
I really like your sentiments Rick12 and would love to see Omar Bogle back, sadly unless there is a fund raiser, which in the current climate will be nigh on impossible for Town fans to pull the rabbit out of the hat this time, his wage demands will be too far away from what we could offer. Two things on the balance would have to happen, we push the boat out and Omar drops down to that best offer, it could pay off in the long run should we get promoted though. |

Fully agree, we can put him on our wish list though and you never know we signed Gary Birtles all those years ago and he was far too good for 4th tier football at the time. |
