There was a lot of pressure on the team in general in the Conference and he himself was under even more being our main ‘strike threat’ (I use that very loosely, whilst being aware that he did get 20 goals in a season). Had he played for us this season he’d have been well thought of because of his work rate which is perhaps lacking in our current strikers. I am at work for the Testimonial but intend to buy a ticket/donate some cash for it. I see that there is someone looking for nominees to turn the Freshney Place Christmas lights on - Dis is worthy of that honour isn’t he?
