I like mystical films, films about supernatural manifestations in our lives. I want to especially note that I don't like trash with zombies and so on .. I like movies like "Just Like Heaven", "What Dreams May Come", "The Sixth Sense" It makes you think and find some angel's message for us. I believe in such things)) It is a pity that I have not seen worthwhile films in this genre for the past 7 years.  I can only name the "Insidious" from what has touched me recently. This is a horror movie but the plot was interesting and unusual.

Have you seen the film ‘The Discovery’? Not my cup of tea but from what your saying it could be of interest if you haven’t.

I'm not normally into American comedy but loved "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"

Also a little known American coming of age film with lots of atmosphere that I really enjoyed when I was younger "Summer of 42"

Three other classic films I've watched today

On the buses
Mutiny on the buses
Holiday in the buses

They don't make em like that anymore!

Steptoe and Son
Steptoe and Son Ride Again

I would put them on par

I agree that My cousin Vinny is a very good film.  Funny, lots of twists and clever.

Besides Godfather 1 and 2, my favourite film is Good Will Hunting.  (Matt Damon, Ben Aflect, Robin Williams and Minnie Driver).   Every time I watch it I see something new or different.  Repeat viewings improve the experience.

Goodfellas - is well, good.

On a lighter note, Ferris Buellers Day Off is a funny comedy.
