GoodWillHunting

(Matt Damon, Robin Williams, Ben Afleck and Minnie Driver)

One of the few films that you can watch time and time again, as we do, and each time pick up new nuances and profound dialogue.  (Eg missing a one-off sports game because you had just met your future wife for the first time in a bar before the game).

Written by Matt Damon and Ben Aflect when they were both young.  Shows great maturity.  I think that they won an Oscar for it.

Forest Buellers Day Off is a funny off-beat comedy.  A programme about how they made it was itself 90 mins long.

Some of those On The Buses films were not far off the mark,

Some of the things they got up to could have happened in Grimsby/Cleethorpes,

Don't watch many films but the 2 that stick in my mind was Bette Middler in The Rose and then enjoyed The Green Mile

Saw Dunkirk today which obviously is an incredible story as it is but it's been retold in an incredible way with this film. So intense, a real emotional roller coaster.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
