They are the North Feriby of L2 , and I hope they get stuffed every week. Money isn't everything. I agree with Rob - absolutely tinpot and always will be.

Saw Vince interviewed before the second leg of the semi final and he was unbelievably cocky. L2 has been extremely competitive this year. How many teams could have made the play-offs? Town once looked as if they would and then, even after a bad run, they were still only a few points away!

Tranmere saved their worst performance of the season for today and were woeful at the back. McNulty was terrible, caught out so many times and left lunging at thin air. Forest Green don't have any support and how they will fill their new eco-stadium (if it happens) I do not know. Another Darlington (without the eco bit).

The remark that Mr Vince made will probably be pinned up in large letters on the doors of 23 dressing rooms when FG arrive. They have done nothing yet so should keep their mouths shut. I am afraid Eastleigh are a bit the same. Small club with money from a backer. I have a newspaper cutting from the Southampton Daily Echo pinned up in my office at home that goes back to the semi final two years ago, which has a banner headline, 'Bring on Grimsby: Spitfires ready to settle score against Mariners in play-offs'. I think they would have been best advised to keep their mouths shut. It gave me great pleasure we beat them so convincingly. UTM
