When he scored that goal at Wembley the emotion that he showed afterwards always struck me as something more than a footballer scoring at the national stadium. We know he had a difficult time after the sudden passing of his mother and if he is still struggling to come to terms with it he is entitled to take whatever steps he feels he needs, there is more to life than football.
In the meantime Nathan I thank you for that goal, in many years time if I am asked about my favourite GTFC goal I suspect yours may be the one I choose.

My 3 year old is sports mad. He likes to pretend he's the people he's seen on TV so when he plays cricket he's Joe Root, when he plays golf he's Danny Willett and when he plays football he's Nathan Arnold. Will never forget that goal or that celebration!
