I would not worry about playing Vale next week after what i have just watched. We were awful and im sure you can beat Vale next week if we play like that....

Only good thing from my point of view is that we will see a reaction from the players next week. (i hope)

Yeah, Scott and Hurst out, get rid of the whole team, start over again and do even worse next season, great idea. Give them time!

We haven't got time FFS - even you must be aware we haven't got a pot to p!ss in financially and it's getting worse every week.
Our so called saviour has closed his wallet, the other geezer gave his shares away in order to get rid of the the financial committment and to avoid being tainted by the Grimsby Town disease.
It's this season or bust - literally I reckon.  All the cards have been played and we have gone 'all in'
Next season could be kids on £20 a week or part time - we can't afford to f*ck about any longer

2 games Jock, keep up mate.

I'm talking league games.....same as Huddersfield who are currently on a 42 match unbeaten league run (as they don't include the play off final last year in that calculation) Only another 41 to go, and it's cue madness!

Bath were a terrible team and played very badly for most of the game but we failed to beat them, I expect we will get absolutely hammered next week by 6 or 7 goals.

Well it sounds like Grimsby fans are just as drunk off as Vale fans after our 2 terrible results. I will safely say that there is not a chance you will lose by 3 goals next week if Vale play how they did today. It could actually be quite an interesting game.

Sorry for turning this into a Vale v Grimsby thread by the way!!

I think there's every chance of a Cup upset by Town at Vale IF we start positively and just maybe get a rub of the green for once. Soft penalty today, compared to our ZERO amount of pens all season sent us diving for the panic button. But for the Ref's intervention we'd have got through the game and likely kept a clean sheet. But I say stick with Kempson and I'Anson in the centre of defence, and Townsend adds a bit of mobility at left back, to me this is a defence that has shown some promise and can grow in confidence and reliability. We do need to develop some steel and learn to keep our bottle, though

Sorry for the positivity, take aim and fire at will

No penalties at all this season? Blimey that's an incredible statistic.
