Also who were the two blokes at the end giving the Town players loads of aggro? Im all for having a rant and would like to have a chat with some of the Town players/management etc but those two were unreal and a bit out of order. I know we lost and entitled to our opinion but fook me!

Thanks for clearing that up! Inbred does not even justify it.

Had a quick look on the SCFC forum who are obviously gloating but some thought Grimsby were the worst team the have played this season. I think I agree.

Not very good all round. IMO Hearn Green & Wood ok the rest were nothing really. Coulson is such a disappointment at times.
Great turnout of Town fans again but I have never heard them so quiet, then again nothing to shout about.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Bloody hell. I've seen Mr Burns mentioned on here so many times and never twigged who he was until I read this thread. What a pleb that man is. Town games would be so much more enjoyable/bearable if I didn't have to listen to that rats opinion for two hours. A mate of mine came close to lamping him at Eastbourne last season.

As for today's football? I can't add anything. Chrisblor has already summed it up for me.

You fill up my senses,
Like a barrel of Tetley's,
Like a packet of Woodbine,
Like a good pinch of snuff,
Like a night out in Cleethorpes,
Like a greasy chip butty,
O, Super Black and Whites,
Come fill me again
Na na naa naa naa naaaa TOWN!!
Na na naa naa na na naaaa
Na na naa naa na naaa naaa
Na na naa naa naa naaaaaaa!!!!!

am i the only person who thought Stockport were a fine example of a footballing side?
They moved the ball really well, there movement was far superior to ours and they were patient and kept the ball from us by passing it along the floor.

We were good for about the first minute and then as soon as they stared playing football we ran out of ideas. This is the most direct Town side i have ever seen.
Thought the ginger lad in the middle of the park was excellent for them.
