His name was Ahmed Fathi, he played for Sheff Utd and was/is a full back for Egypt.
There were always shirts he'd swapped with certain players thrown on the back of our kitchen chairs.
Was weird seeing Mido (eg) playing on TV one day then finding his shirt in our kitchen the next lol.

Met Robin Askwith many many years ago when the Pier was council owned and found Jack Smethurst on our settee one night when him and the old man had been on the urine in Cleethorpes the reason why he was there it was either that or getting arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
A few weeks ago spent most of the night with Bez from the Happy Mondays after he did a DJ set in Cleethorpes
