used to drink the fizzy stuff but i have graduated onto proper ale and i will drink anywhere with timmy taylors on. If you are ever stuck for a good pub in leeds look no further than the scarborough taps directly opposite the train station, they always have landlord on and a selection of different ales every week.

Brewery Tap right next to the station is also a welcome addition as well. Brew their stuff on site dontcha know... Their own lager, Leodis, is a bit rubbish though - way too fizzy. Leeds pale is my fav.

What's up with a nice pint of stones.

goes down great guns.

cue bitter adverts galore

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Talking of trains:  I had a mate who was a huge fan of railways in general, but he got all depressed and wanted to commit suicide.  He asked for my help, so I pushed him in front of an Express Train............................He was chuffed to bits.

And Thank You!

With a peccadillo like mine, you wouldn't want to meet me.

Watching THE TOWN sober isn't an option!

Timothy Taylor's Landlord is my favourite pint.

There's a pub in Haworth that has the full Timothy Taylor range on tap; all 5 of them.

Fooking hell, finally I agree with one of your posts.  Sadly only seen in these parts as an occasional guest beer.  Also a big fan of Ruddles County and when I'm down at the outlaws it has to be the local brew, Spitfire.

Scarborough Taps is great - the pork pie, cheese and ale festival they do is ace.

PSG - if you like Brewery Tap you should try The Cross Keys and The Midnight Bell less than 5 mins walk from the station on Water Lane. I think they are owned by the same lads who own Brewery Tap and are both good spots.

The Scarborough Taps is the only pub I have been refused entry too. Mind you I had spent all day watching England beat Australia in a one day match at Headingly. Got the train back to Manchester and woke up in Blackpool. At least England won!!

They serve a decent pint and they keep the riff-raff out - what's not to like?
