I expected us to lose today but not to go to yet another level of ineptness. The only hope I can cling onto is Vernam & Rose galvanise us to somehow survive

That will just put them in the firing line.  Nobody could get much out of this team.  A lot of what went wrong today was basic stuff. First touch was terrible, decision making was really poor and we couldn't create any space.

After agree with first touch …. These are pro footballers and not one of them appears to have a decent first touch, let’s not even talk about passing the ball

Not sure if this was mentioned at the time, but the players looked like they were blowing out their @rses after about 40 minutes. Yes, the pitch was heavy but I’ve seen more pace from Johnny ward getting a round in!

The owners haven’t got the balderdash to sack him nor do they have the faintest clue what to do. It’s a case of hope for the best and keep every finger crossed.

Sadly I think you are right.

Looking at it objectively, we have just lost against 3rd & 5th in the league. The results around us have gone against us but I’m still convinced 5-6 points still keeps us in this division. The previous 6 games before the past 2 show me we’re more than capable of doing that.

The manner of the defeat today worries me a bit, the sheer lack of footballing ability on show was tough to watch from start to finish. Not going to meltdown over it just yet, Sutton need to be 4 points better than us in 2 less games, that’s still going to be some run of form from them and an absolutely disastrous run of form from us.

Some will spend the evening revelling in it as a chance to hammer Artell again, but I’m not sure he can do much about the things we saw on show today.

Barrow have been in a play off position all season, no way were we more likely to get something out this game than Wrexham

They are all at fault for all 3 goals. We have a complete lack of skill in this team without Vernam (who will no doubt be injured again in the next couple of games). Why is our centre half able to dribble better than all our attacking players that started today!  It's just a complete poo show nearly every week.

So putting Pearson and Davies in charge will give our midfield legs and make them pass it to a team mate? People will be calling for Hunt next. Klopp couldn't get a tune out of these players, Vernam looked lively when he came on, keep him fit (unlikely) for the rest of the season and that could make a difference
