Once again, I have to say, far too slow to change things and make subs.

At least we are winning some and losing some both Wimbledon and Doncaster are in free fall. Just 7 points between 10th and 18th and we could finish anywhere between those two.

Chances - how many might Mani have scored from less then 6 yards today?
Passing - have we tested the colour blindness of the team members as we seem to not be able to pass to players wearing our own team shirts !!
Nearly 60 games this year, the higher standard in Div 2, and with having had a short pre season has caught up with a lot of the players.
Slack passing, sloppy positioning, and no speed around the pitch lately have all cost us.
It must frustrate the management team when they see the same players who shook 5 higher league teams but struggle against those in the same league.
Season end - hard decisions to come, lose the sympathy, and build a far more competitive team again.
Owed to every loyal fan !!

Obviously, it doesn’t really matter in terms of positions/points, but I do think it’s a bit disappointing that we’re not seeing much urgency or evolution of approach and strategy. Tranmere made subs before we did today and they were winning. We’re too slow to react, tactically. We can use 5 subs. We had players who were completely ineffectual or even pretty poor but they were kept on too long. There’s nothing at stake. Why the hesitancy in changing? I like Hurst, but substitutions have, in my opinion, always been an area for improvement for me. I want to see him be bolder, braver, more expansive and less risk averse. I can understand being conservative in a tight relegation scrap, but come on….

All true about our lack of potency, but should’ve been “nil” against apart from a stupid foul by Gav plus a poor FK from Josh due to indecision initially and then GK positioning looking like he’d been coached by Macca! (Not to mention another nailed on pen the ref missed!)

Orsi and Lloyd upfront for 90mins we don't lose that game. 1st half we crested a few good chances and I think with 2 mobile strikers I reckon we'd have crested even more and mo doubt scored eventually. Both Orsi and Lloyd have shown they can score goals (Orsi was unlucky today, good same by the goalkeeper)

Would love to know our shot on target % and % of shots on target to goals this season. We have a squad that's pretty dresdful at shooting all told
Will probably be one stat already identified by Hursts super computer and results passed through to the recruitment team... We need another holding midfielder.. 😄

Is this the same Mani who’s scored 4 goals In over 80 games in the football league? Mad that people think he’d have been the answer, he scored some vital goals for us but he was a bang average footballer & the National league is his level, a cult hero non the less.
