Also that's not a great example as Vardy's entire football league career is 2 seasons in the championship, finishing 6th and 1st.

No, but I missed the Mullens off and they probably are involved in one now as they were steadily working their way down the pyramid .

True but that was decades ago. The standard of football in the lower Scottish leagues is really poor now and wouldn't necessarily be a measure of a player being worthwhile in the English football League.


Just to put some context on the standard of Scottish football  Colin Cramb and Michael Antoine Curier became prolific scorers in Scotland, enough said. !!!
