I appreciate it’s totally unimportant in our season but it would have made sense to play this on a date when as a minimum our squad players could have played. Idiots, obviously never spent all the money they fined me during my playing days on hiring staff with any common sense.

A supposedly cup competition for the Lincolnshire F A  senior clubs 1st eleven is arranged on a date when a senior 1st eleven cannot play because of other commitments. You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

The local pre season games were quite well attended too , I can’t ever remember us taking less than 1000 to Scunny , Lincoln and Boston ect in the summer . They should scrap it and bring back the Yorkshire and Humberside cup
