Wait until the next transfer window we aim to improve on every one .I know it's only 3 games in from the end of this window and it will be better judged after 10 games .But up to now panic signings of young kids doesn't appear to be working as it didn't in the summer .

But again its wait untill the next window  the next season the next this and that and it never happens. Hurst needs the rug pulling out from under his slippers, He is a non league manager and only average at that . We dont want fancy sprinklers and nasty dock water beer or meat pies that have 2 pieces of extra meat in them or  4,5,6, Million pound training center We want a team of good players what part of football team does our not so new owners not understand. This team would not be anything in none league let alone in the league

Loans from Cheltenham or untried kids from u23 teams aren’t going to cut it with the fans this summer . There’s going to have to be some serious reinforcement that show some intent on the pitch .
I asked my 9 year old lad on the way home where he thinks we’ll be this time next year and he said 17th !!

Incremental improvement then. I thought that was the goal.

I’m not sure how much incremental improvement you can make when your revenues drop.

I don't understand why people are still going on about a 'poor transfer window', when it has been made perfectly obvious by PH and JS.  Location, and money.  End of story.

Sod it then, let's resign ourselves to forever being in the lower reaches of L2 or in non league.

The transfer window showed me that we either have a lack of cash or a lack of ambition. Possibly both. It’s been masked by a few cup wins in which we were more hungry than the opposition. It’s not just our home league form that’s poor, our performance level has been equally bad.

There no lack of ambition and there is and has been some cash but not as much as other teams have, Hurst eluded to that post match yesterday.

People equate spending money as an illustration of ambition, a strategy that doesn’t always work and you need deep pockets.

If you listen to what Hurst said at the forum he had problems getting players to come. The conversation to Dallas went along the lines 'Can we talk to you about coming to Grimsby? Answer NO'. If they don't want to come they don't want to come. He also said he had problems with unnamed others.

You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time
