Today was worse than dire, not an off day but just write it off completely. According to many on here we were not expected to win, but the size of the defeat and performance leaves me cold.

As posted we now 6 games to make a recovery,

Sat 21 Jan     H     Harrogate Town           
Tue 24 Jan     A     Crawley Town                
Sat 28 Jan     H     Newport County           
Sat 4 Feb     A     Crewe Alexandra                
Sat 11 Feb     H     Colchester United                
Tue 14 Feb     A     Gillingham

Let's hope that Hurst brings in a forward ( or 2 )  to replace McAtee and we need a central defender to replace Smith, whose consistency has deserted him over the last few games.

We should grind out enough points to keep us out of the danger zone and, being an optimist, 16/18 points and we'll be on the verge of the play offs. Our future does not depend on the next 5 weeks but it will certainly define it.

Any one know what Paul Hurst's EFL stats are like ? Apart from that season at Shrewsbury it can't be great ?

Well if that’s the case, why not rule out the basket cases of Ipswich, Scunthorpe and towns half season when we went down. You either want the facts or not.
