Any news on when this is going to be rearranged for yet? Presume there was a bit of a wait to see if both teams would be free FA Cup 2nd round weekend.

Yeah I was wondering the same, probably Tuesday 15th of November?

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I doubt it, that would have been reserved for a Cup replay and is it not now a bit a close? Following week is the Papa John’s Last 32, so that’s gone. The following week England play Wales at 7pm so that’s a complete no go. That means it’s either the 6th or 13th December, and England could feasibly be in the QF or SF on one or both of those nights yet! So it could be post Christmas we get this game yet.

Have the club just forgotten about this game?

Is there a rule that rearranged fixtures have to be played within so many days of the original date?  Definitely remember something like this in the Conference.

Absolute irony if any such rule is flouted because of the farce cup.  Still slightly disappointed that the club made such little noise about this.

I was a little bit disappointed that this was Stockwood's stance after the trophy game:

Good job more didn’t turn up as only the Main Stand was open with its poor views . I and others may have gone if they had opened the upper Findus

I'll hazard a guess most people will have either gone or not gone to this game, regardless of what side of the ground is open.  Was a few FA Trophy games in our first spell in the Conference that had certain parts of the ground opened and I think it had little to no impact on the overall attendances.

Think it'll be the Main Stand they open simply because they're already having to open it up for the changing rooms etc. so saves on any other overheads.

That said, it was only the Upper open for the Walsall Youth Cup game last week and I believe that was the plan for tonight until it was called off.

It was definitely an unexpected view to be aired from Stockwood, that's for sure.

If we beat Accrington, and then get another home game I think attendances may creep up in this competition, especially as the prospect of Wembley looms larger and if our League season begins to fizzle out.

Nah. I've been to Wembley plenty of times. Don't need to go there to see the Mickey Mouse cup.
