Genuine question: isn't the person who was overlooked for the role a board member?

Yes and does a lot for the club, as well on Wednesday runs the dementia club.

Thank you for confirming my "snide comment" is true. We are constantly told that the club belongs to us and as such, those that work for it are accountable to not only the board, but also to us.

This lack of communication with existing sponsors from the Head of Commercial is a huge concern, especially now it is coming to light that she is a friend of the CEO. That's potentially nepotism and I know I sound like a hypocrite having ranted about the Project Manager job but at least that person has a track record with all the things they've done for this club to deserve a go at the paid role.

I'm not for one second blaming Jason and Andrew here because they can't possibly oversee everything.

If commercial sponsors aren't being contacted and receiving poorly written letters, do you think they will spend their money with our club next year?

Also it's the middle of November and we have only just got round to thinking about what business names to print on our calendar. I best scribble off that calendar off my Christmas list...

Daughter I think. I believe she previously held a position working on the East Marsh with a community group.

The new head of Commercial went on the pitch in her high heels to pressent the man of the match award the other week, not the best choice of footwear when you know you are repressenting the club.

This is a tawdry thread and that is about the most crass comment in it.

I do not see the reason why do need to know the detailed employment history of backroom staff on this thread. We do not do it for the playing side, so why now for backroom staff?

The club both on and off the pitch has come on leaps and bounds with improvements on all fronts. There has been casualties and there will be in the future, it has been and will always be the way. I don't like it but you have to accept it as progress.

All getting a bit weird and crass on here.

Ironic really that under the old regime we never had these discussions, especially when it came to positions of influence.

Who flipping cares what someone wears to present an award that doesn’t really mean anything. Who cares that a few advertising boards haven’t been filled yet and really, who gives a excrement about the calendar not being done yet. Does anyone buy a club calendar? The players never last the flipping year anyway.

If people had only arsed themselves with this level of scrutiny and questioning over the last 20 years we might have never had to endure that idiot for that length of time.

All a bit flipping strange really when you think about it. Don’t like a response from the club? Take it up with the club. Not sure whether you wanna sling your 10k in to the club, take it up with the club. Surely there’s an irony in moaning about the lack of professionalism I guess and then coming on here whining about it.

People sat here cryarsing because some people have left yet it hardly seems to be damaging anything.

If people have an issue, take it up with the club, whining in an echo chamber in here seems futile.

See ya tomorrow, let’s smash then chizzits…

No need. This is a bit cringe.

All this prying into a £12k a year role!? The young lady was probably delighted when she got the job, I hope this stuff hasn't spoilt it for her. She's probably not even started yet!

It’s just a but weird really isn’t it. I mean, those qualifications and the likes and she’s taken the job for £12k a year means she clearly wants it and no doubt met the criteria. Gown men on here cryarsing about what shoes she wore or an email that wasn’t up to their standards (remember the crass and poorly worded statements from the club that often didn’t make a four page thread on here?). It’s all a bit weird.

You talk about scrutiny and questioning. Isn’t that because the new owners promised transparency?
