I haven't got a 'buddy' I hate enough to make him go and sit in the Osmond by himself whilst I sit in my usual seat with my other friend

Club have just announced that the Newport game on Tuesday 7th March is one of the 'Bring a Buddy' games, suggesting there will be others.  Fiver for the extra ticket.

Vouchers only redeemable over the phone or in person which will no doubt cause a few issues.  But fair play to the club for going back to this.

How do they accommodate the 'buddies'? Stick them in the Osmond or in the restricted view seats?

It does say subject to availability and heavily suggests that it won't be the only game to have this.

I think it does raise plenty of questions and with such a high number of seats already allocated for who would bring a friend to make them sit on their own, miles away?

I've been critical of the club on this issue but I they wouldn't have dared to have dreamed of this problem when season tickets were announced last summer.  It needs better thinking out in future and perhaps it would have been better served as a free-entry to a cup game rather than a Bring a Buddy type, hindsight is fantastic though.

This works well with terracing or unallocated seating with plenty of capacity. As above, who will give up a decent seat in the Upper to go sit in the Osmond with their buddy...actually I probably could be persuaded, depending on who she is...

If not used, maybe compensate with 2 free tickets to a pre season game 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would not be that cruel to take a friend to a home game. The flattest atmosphere in league 2 unless we play a yorkie team.

Think it used to be in the voucher pack a few years back for a free entry to a pre-season game or even games.  Was the only one that I ever used.
