Yep, Hartlepool fan on another forum has confirmed that's the reason why. Chairman in no hurry to spend anything on the club.

It’s surprising the EFL have allowed them not to, thus contravening the 10% minimum allocation rule. Oh hang on a minute, no it’s not.

There is a dispensation possible if you can prove good reason for offering less seats in the EFL rules

Yeah, but they’ve been offering these poor allocations since the beginning of the season (and perhaps longer). How can you get dispensation for that?

Is that definitely the case? Carlisle themselves got fewer than 700, which appears to have been the case all season.

The damage that reduced capacity was at last seasons game they repeated again on a smaller scale earlier this month. They also did it in 2015 . It’s a ritual apparently

It’s a fúcking moronic ritual. Only serves to harm your fellow lower league football fan; what’s the fúcking point?

If I don’t get a ticket I’ll be writing Carlisle an angry letter.

Been twice. First time was a simod/rumbelows/betterware cup type offering on a pi55ing down Tuesday night with futch nearly scoring from the halfway line but for a swimming pool in the goal mouth

Second was a Boxing Day loss (2-0 I think).

Had a look on the OS, Barrow tickets on sale but no news of Hartlepool, didn't see an announcement for those either.
