This is a photo of 93 year old Harrison Ruffin Tyler, alive and well this very day.

His grandad, John Tyler, was born in 1790. Wrap your head around that.

Winston Churchill was the first Prime Minster in the Queen’s reign.  He was born in 1874.  He personally new people born in the 1700s.

Around a 100 years ago many people could afford to own a horse but very few people could afford a car.

Now, many people own a car but very few people can afford to own a horse.

In 1850 there were around 150,000 blacksmiths in this country.  A skill gradually reducing in demand. How could they be redeployed and what jobs could be created for their offspring in the future?

Step forward Mobile Phone Shops etc etc,  How life changes.
