I paid on PayPal, it came up as saying it had been refunded but I have no PayPal credit nor is the money in my bank so not sure how that one works. I'd actually forgotten about that, went away for the weekend and thought I'd leave it a while as it does say refunds can take time to actually show but might keep a closer eye on it.

Paypal refunds are usually pretty instant, unless you paid via your bank account, rather than actual funds in Paypal itself?

Yeah same as the couple of posts above, mine was back in my account 3 days later. I just pay on debit card for any streams though, no Paypal.

I’ve spoken to the club on your behalf and it turns out it’s the new bullshit tax the club are implementing. £10 for each “inbound” that doesn’t materialise.

Debbie says you owe them another £60. Dave Moore will be round shortly to collect it. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or anterior cruciate ligaments.

I sent the club an email today asking about my refund. The reply is :-

"The refund process started on the Fri 19 Aug 2022 at 16:42:50
​We can't see how long it will take to end up back to you, however trust that the refund is being processed and will arrive in due time.

​Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

I hope it's not a long wait!


I don't know who is in charge of the refunds but that is not only a pathetic response but crap.

They will have your payment details so should be able to process it straight away.

Just checked my bank statement and I've now got the refund. It did say the transaction date was the 19th August so why it took so looooong to get back into my account I don't know.
