We can settle this capacity thing once for all after Tuesday. On the basis that no shows will be minimal as an all pay game, and both home and away will be sold out - then Tuesday’s attendance will be the saleable capacity of BP, and we don’t need to talk about it any more.

Hope it isn't announced  as 10,000 as that will confuse the fck out of everyone 🤣

Can't we just rejoice in having 6200 against Sutton in an EFL game? Unthinkable 18 months ago.

Agreed, and even the people that didn't turn up had bought a season ticket. It is effectively a full home end for every game apart from some season ticket holders who cannot go for whatever reasons they have. Like you say it is absolutely amazing that we could play smaller clubs and get such crowds. League games against the bigger teams with a larger away following will be fantastic.

That's not the point though is it?

If we've got even 100 empty seats, there's potential there for the club to make more money (even at a reduced rate through the resale scheme)  but more importantly it's about making sure we're getting as many people in the ground as possible and able to watch the team, ideally avoiding people having to watch the game in seats with really poor views (although to be honest, that might have been the best view on Saturday!).  Any redevelopment or new build will ideally have a capacity that exceeds 8000.  Let's get a bit of proof of concept that it's needed.

But let's definitely celebrate the numbers we had through for the game, unimaginable 18 months ago.
