I see the club have renamed the Platinum Lounge after Bill Carr.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Never fails to amaze me how Alan Buckley still looks just how he did in the 90s.

Never fails to amaze me that there are large scale protests against Bill Carr. On the pitch protests yet Fenty got buggerall and actually did ruin the club…

Hey up everyone, our club really IS having a heart transplant!!!

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

It appears as though it's a closed shop. No entry for ordinary fans but can go on a waiting list!

What’s an ordinary fan?

I’m confused to be honest, does having a few quid not mean you’re an ordinary fan?

Folk choose to sit in a box, that’s their choice, I’ve done it, hated it but not sure it questions the credentials of a fan…

When my business started to struggle badly, I had to look for smaller premises and ended up renting one off Bill Carr. He was a wonderful kind man and often came in and spoke about the Mariners.

I agree, i worked for him for a while and he was probably the best gaffer I ever worked for, he took an awful amount of flak at the club through no fault of his own.
