Great move but if he plays through a season without injury it will be a bit odd

Good luck to him (except during the obvious couple of games). I have to admit I'm surprised he's landed a League club, but maybe he'll be able to stay fit with them?

How did he manage to convince them to sign him? Hasn't proven anything for two seasons spending most of his time injured and had his best seasons in much lower leagues. If he suddenly starts every game for them we know he was lying to get released.

Also he always looks super young. He's 24 but looks like his mum still drives him to training in this picture.

Shocked he got a League 2 Club but probably just the right balance of enough potential and low-ish wages that’s it’s worth a chance. There’s definitely a League player in Max if he can stay fit.  Really hope he does well for them.

You could say the same about Scannell but add three seasons to that two yet we have given him another contract.

Scannell, proven footballer, clearly well respected and influential around the place, Wright, whilst decent stood out in excrement town sides and could never seemingly get fit…

Hurst did allude to the idea it might be more than a physical thing last season though…

I thought Max would develop into an excellent player, and good luck to him in getting a league club, but isn't this slightly odd?

Is he suddenly not going to be injured all the time now then? He was also ok injury-wise at the clubs he went on loan to, wasn't he? is it just a GTFC thing with him?

I said months ago I bet he goes somewhere else, plays every game and sold on at a profit which would be great for him but disappointing for us having spent so much time trying to get him fit.
