Good luck to DLK

The way the club have dealt with this and with Scannell has to be a positive.

We identified last year that DLK wasn’t happy in the area and sorted a loan move. We then haven’t stood in his way and allowed him to move on.

With scans we’ve supported him through injuries and have given him a contract to allow him to return to fitness at and supported by the club rather than casting him aside.

I’m sure that football is a small industry and this type of behaviour from the club as an employer will get round potential employees. It’s only going to increase the chances of a player wanting to come if they know they’ll be looked after.

You make that sound like we were a caring club to let him go but he was clearly not good enough and not in Paul Hurst's plans so the club are probably delighted to have him off our books and hopefully saving a year's salary from someone who was very unlikely to play for us again.

Prefers it down south, came up and gave it a go. Wasn't for him. He's moved on. I wish him well.

Some moves don't work out for one reason or another and this is one of them. My Mrs went out in Cleethorpes a week before the infamous drink driving night and her mate was trying to take DLK back to hers. My Mrs was talking to DLK and he was saying that it's so boring around here and he misses London.

It was no surprise to see him head to Woking on loan and it's no surprise to see him go to Dag & Red. Andy Smith as his replacement please.

Good, but Waterfall,Towler, Smith and Pearson were all better than him and let’s be fair Maher is also clearly better than him so will get very little game time - makes sense for all parties.
