They did seem, at the time, like the death rattle of of the old regime as it was swept out the door and seem to have been complete bullshít and we never heard anything after that as Noche and he fluffers disappeared.

Old Noche won't have disappeared, he'll just be using his other username. Quite laughable that he and Pen Penfras were claiming the club was in a parlous state when it literally hasn't been healthier this century.

These swipes from the old regime are very much what you would expect, best we just to ignore them in future perhaps?

They are working extended hours to cope with this too. In all of it I am sure of one thing, they will get significantly more recognition and reward than they ever did under the old regime. Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

I would expect the staff have been extremely busy recently with ticket sales and shirts etc. Is that a reason ? Morale in the work place usually centres how people feel valued. I don't work at GTFC so can't comment on that. I would say from the outside looking in the owners do come across as the sort of employers who do value those on their team.

I stood at the counter for a few minutes before I was dealt with and in that time numerous staff asked me if they could help all with beaming faces, how is that a description of staff with low morale???

Morale considerably better than at the Number 10 Office. As said above, the Club is trying to manage “success overload”.  Always good for high morale, even if staff are extremely busy pulling out all the stops.
