Got to be very happy with that. The best player in what was comfortably the league’s best defence last season. They only conceded 35 in 44 league games, which is an incredible record really.

Excellent start to proceedings.

Got yourself a good one there. Look after him. Very comfortable on ball. We played him as a defensive midfielder first couple of seasons, but he made centre half his own the last two season. Glad he's gone to a team on the up. Think he's the right sort of signing for you.

Great signing, especially considering he was linked with most Northern L2 sides. Seems like we've actually won a legit transfer race here. Well done to the club.

Still think we need more in. Pearson looks like he is moving towards the coaching side of things and won’t really be a starter next season. DLK clearly wants away. So we therefore have only Waterfall, Maher and Pearson as senior CB’s
